Only 100 years had passed since Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas when the Bisol family settled in the Prosecco production area, a presence certified by legal documents of the Venetian Republic.
Initially, they took on a trustworthy role as managers of some land of the noble Casato di Pola e dell'Istria, belonging to the Sergi family, located on the hills of an area known as Chartice, a name that leads back to the current and authoritative hill of Cartizze. Since then more than twenty generations have followed one another, but the oenological interest is undertaken around 1875 when Eliseo Bisol began to market wine prosperously.
The adversities of the following years, phylloxera and the cruelty of the First World War have never broken a chain that had as its next link Desiderio Bisol nicknamed Jeio (mentioned in many labels) that then entrusts the property to the 4 children. The wine cellar for the conservation of the wines has maintained its original characteristics since it was dug into the rock; here only bottles of historical vintages are kept.
