Description
What kind of wine it is
The Stefano Antonucci Passerina from Santa Barbara is an organic white wine with Indicazione Geografica Tipica status, vinified in steel without filtration, faithfully expressing the identity of the native Marche grape variety. Made from Passerina grapes, it appears straw yellow with greenish highlights. On the nose, it offers fruity and fragrant aromas, while on the palate it is fresh and savoury. The drink guarantees excellent structural balance, supported by lively acidity and a very distinctive mineral character.
Where it comes from
This wine originates in the Marche region, in the lands of the municipality of Barbara. The vineyards are located at about two hundred metres above sea level, with a north-western exposure. The vines, trained using the spurred cordon method, sink their roots into medium-textured clay soils. These geological conditions give the wine its characteristic savouriness.
How it is produced
The process enhances the natural vocation of the grape through vinification in stainless steel tanks, a technique that preserves the fragrance of the aromas and the freshness of the fruit. The decision not to filter aims to maintain the aromatic integrity, keeping the intensity and substance of the wine unchanged. The result is a dynamic sip, in which structure and vibrant acidity coexist in complete harmony.
