Description

What kind of wine it is

Masi Modello delle Venezie Bianco is a still, dry white wine with a youthful character, able to best express the floral and fruity aromas of its region. This vegan blend is created from a combination of Garganega, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Verduzzo and other local varieties. Visually, it displays a bright straw yellow colour with greenish highlights. The aromatic profile opens with a clear bouquet of citrus, ripe apple, pear and delicate hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it offers a light and smooth structure, with a softness well balanced by lively acidity. The sip finishes with a fresh finale, characterised by pleasant mineral and almond notes.

Where it comes from

This white wine has its roots in the Tre Venezie area, a vast region encompassing Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Production enhances the vineyards of the Stra’ del Milione estate, a place of deep historical value that recalls the ancient trade routes to the East. The climate and soils of this interregional area give the grapes marked freshness and a pronounced aromatic clarity. Masi Modello delle Venezie Bianco fully expresses these territorial characteristics, offering immediate drinkability ideal for warm days. Served chilled, it is perfect for accompanying summer dishes, starters, creamy risottos, white meats and fish-based recipes.

How it is produced

Vinification takes place through temperature-controlled fermentation in steel. This choice preserves the integrity of the fruit, enhancing the clarity of the aromas and maintaining the grapes’ natural acidity. The production process by Masi makes this wine entirely suitable for vegans, excluding the use of animal derivatives in the cellar. The acidic structure and dry profile make it a versatile and satisfying glass for any convivial occasion.

Masi is a leading producer of Amarone and has always interpreted the values of the Venetian regions with passion. Its history begins in 1772, the date of the Boscaini family's first harvest in the prized vineyards of ‘Vaio dei Masi’, a valley in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. Since then, Masi has expanded, little-by-little, with successive purchases in the best historical production areas of the Venetian regions.

Masi produces first-class wines primarily from native grape varieties, using traditional methods that embody sustainability and continuous technological innovation. With more than two hundred and fifty vintages behind it, Masi has been owned since its inception by the Boscaini family, which today runs the company with the sixth, seventh and eighth generations.
