From this winery
GRAWÜ is the union of our surnames: Leila GRAsselli and Dominic WÜrth. It seemed to us nice to have a name that represents us. Our winery is not just a winery, it is a family project that wants to reflect in a simple and sincere way the taste and beauty of this alpine area. The idea is to experiment and discover new horizons; the fact that we are not originally from this area is in some ways difficult, but it offers us the great opportunity to be free to create unique wines of great character.

| Wine making | Great selection of Gewurtztraminer grapes in the vineyard and on the table. Spontaneous fermentation of the grapes in contact with the skins for 3 weeks in acacia barrels. In order to stem the ‘heat’ we resorted to 30% stalks in fermentation. Subsequent ageing in small acacia barrels for 16 months. |
