Giulia Negri is a young winemaker from La Morra (CN) who in a few years managed to bring out all her talent and her thoughts through wines with distinctive traits. Giulia descends from a family dedicated to the production of wine for over 150 years in La Morra, which boasts some of the highest vineyards in the Barolo DOCG production area, in the Serradenari area. Giulia could have continued the ancient tradition in the family business but the desire to express her ideas led her to create her own brand. As soon as the parents gave him the chance to grow their bunches, she chose to focus on varieties such as Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Pinot Noir and Chardonnay have been planted on very particular terrain, near a truffle wood, with clones coming from Burgundy, while Nebbiolo has been placed on a warmer and more sandy ground. We speak of vineyards placed over 500 meters above sea level that benefit from strong temperature ranges, places that can give fresh and elegant wines, marked by a mineral stamp.

The Barolo DOCG of Giulia Negri express all the character of the territory and are distinguished by a remarkable freshness and minerality, so as to be unique in the panorama of this historic denomination. The name "garagista" comes from France and refers to those who produce wine inside a small cellar, just like that of Giulia, commensurate with its current needs and respectful of those that are some essential points or cleaning, simplicity and passion.

The young Giulia got the attention of the critics and important prizes and recognitions have arrived, an unequivocal sign that the road taken is the right one: after the phenomenon of "Baroloboys" we are facing a new course, the one represented by the "Barologirls".
