Description
Sicilian DOC still white wine, 12.5% ABV, produced by Donnafugata, a Sicilian family-run winery since 1983. 100% Catarratto Bianco Lucido. 0.75 L bottle. A wine that embodies the essence of Sicily, with a label that celebrates the island's history and beauty. The label features the face of a woman, mysterious and elusive like the Elymians, an ancient people of western Sicily. On the nose, it offers a fresh and fragrant bouquet with notes of white-fleshed fruit combined with hints of wildflowers. Straw yellow. On the palate, the evident fruity note is refreshed by a pleasant savory finish. It has a good persistence on the finish. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses.

Anthìlia today is the name of a wine that is identified with the ancient territory from which it originates.
