100% Sangiovese from the historic Anfiteatro vineyard, planted in 1975, this wine represents Vecchie Terre di Montefili’s journey throughout its history. A wine of great structure and complexity, it embodies all the best characteristics of Sangiovese growns on galestro soil at high altitude. Hints of ripe red fruit, pepper and elegant tannins makes this wine a singular expression of Sangiovese.

Wide and typical olfactory panorama that is manifested with cranberries and blackcurrants still crisp, violets in drying, undergrowth with berry, bay and camphor berries, a clear note of blood and intense spiciness of Sichuan pepper and cinnamon, lightly toasted coffee.

味道

The vibrant freshness makes the sip with a strong personality slender and balanced. The tannins are powerful but velvety, the sapid full of energy manages a very long persistence rich in fruity and spicy echoes.
