Percarlo is made from 100% estate grown Sangiovese grapes, especially selected bunch per bunch, from the best zones of our vineyards, which have a low yield of 1 Kg grapes per vine.
It is a wine with long ageing potential, a robust expression of the San Giusto a Rentennano terroir.

Ruby red, shining, tongued consistency.

香氣/花束

Perfect nose, with delicate scents of cherry and berries, violet lozenges, cigar box, rhubarb and fine spices.

味道

Very rich in the mouth, it seduces with tapered tannins and vibrant freshness. The finish is impeccable, long and complex.

土地的組成	Most of the vineyards for the production of Percarlo are located on land of Pliocene origin, formed by layers of sand and pebbles (tuff) from 2 to 5 meters deep, below which there are shoals of clay. To a lesser extent they are located on galestro and alberese soils, on the south-west side of the farm; the vineyards of "Corsignano", near Monti in Chianti, are instead located on much more clayey soils.

收成	26-29 September. Selected bunch by bunch from the best vineyards, grapes often picked beyond the usual levels of ripeness.
釀造	Fermentation and maceration takes place in glazed cement tanks and lasts up to 30-35 days.
陳年	22 months in 225-litre and 500-litre French oak barrels (Allier, Nevers) and 30 hl casks. Bottle ageing: 15 months.
