Une vallée avec une conformation en coupe divisée en une vallée en forme de "U" caressée par les glaciers, et une partie en forme de "V" creusée et érodée par le torrent Avisio. Des pentes avec des inclinaisons allant jusqu'à 40%, 700 km et plus de murs en pierres sèches qui suivent respectueusement la conformation naturelle du terrain.
