Description

Viafrancia Bianco fully embodies the essence of its philosophy, which aims to create a perfect symphony between native (Grillo and Insolia) and international (Viognier) varieties, celebrating the harmony of the terroir.

On the nose, a complex and layered aromatic bouquet is revealed, with predominant floral notes of broom flower and orange blossom that stand out for their intensity and freshness, providing an elegant sensorial opening. Citrus accents, including citron and bergamot, add a pleasant vivacity to the aromatic profile, while subtle fruity nuances of mango and pink grapefruit add depth and richness to the composition.

Cette harmonie particulière passe inévitablement par le respect de l'intégrité d'excellentes matières premières, dans un cadre parallèle d'optimisation des ressources naturelles que ces territoires - différents et opposés - expriment le caractère. C'est la conscience de sa propre histoire qui maintient le lien de Baglio di Pianetto avec ses territoires de prédilection, la campagne palermitaine et le Val di Noto, expression authentique de deux terroirs opposés mais néanmoins fonctionnels pour une conception de qualité, parce qu'ils sont précisément complémentaires. La production éco-durable de Baglio di Pianetto, confirmée et renforcée par la conversion à l'agriculture biologique de l'ensemble du domaine agricole (environ 160 ha), est également l'expression de l'attention portée aux exigences des passionnés qui veulent savoir ce qu'ils achètent et ce qu'ils boivent, une attention aux consommateurs de plus en plus variée et répandue dans le monde entier. Soil composition The vines from which these grapes originate are grown in soils with different compositions, ranging from medium-textured and silty to clay soil.
Wine making Vinification of Viafrancia Bianco begins by harvesting the grapes by hand; this is followed by a short resting phase in a cold room. The grapes are then gently pressed at low temperatures in an oxygen-free environment to preserve their aromatic integrity. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in a controlled manner, partly in steel tanks and partly in first and second passage French oak barrels. This choice lets us obtain the perfect aromatic harmony and gustatory complexity, preserving the freshness and purity of the aromas.
