Description
Riesling originates from Germany and is one of the highest quality grapes. Riesling is produced in climatically cooler wine-growing areas and is grown almost exclusively on steep slopes. Thus, this noble grape variety finds the best conditions in the Valle Isarco.

En 2005, une nouvelle unité de production a été construite sur le site de Chiusa, tandis que l'ancien bâtiment a fait l'objet d'une restructuration générale. Aujourd'hui, la Cantina Valle Isarco compte environ 130 membres provenant de 11 communes : Varna, Bressanone, Funes/Tiso, Velturno, Chiusa, Laion, Castelrotto, Villandro, Barbiano, Fié et Renon.
