Some people say you fall in love drinking this wine, others claim that the expression "a wine that has love" is used in Burgundy to describe a wine with a magnificent bouquet...Whatever the true meaning, this Premier Cru has always been rated very highly, nearly at the same level as Musigny, its famous Grand Cru neighbour. |

Production technique |
Treatment: only authorized products for biological cultivation are used: infusions and macerations of plant materials, sulfur and copper, powdered rock. Natural predators are not eliminated. |
Vinification |
Maceration and vinification take 2 to 3 weeks,with indigenous yeasts. Maceration and fermentation temperatures under total control. |
Ageing |
In barrels (20% in new oak). Joseph Drouhin insists on total control of the weathering for a period of 3 years, one of the contributing elements to the elegance of the wine. |
