I Veroni Chianti Rufina Riserva 2012

It is a very elegant Sangiovese in purity, years of study and passion of Lorenzo Mariani to make this become a true Sangiovese RESERVE that can represent both the company I Veroni and a flavor that there were in the past. So only sangiovese, all organic (from vintage 2013), all from a single vineyard of over twenty years in the church of St. Martin in Quona facing south south west; maturation in oak lasts about a year and a half in tonneaux 500 lt French oak. The aromas are complex but always fine and elegant, plum, cinnamon, tobacco, licorice, perfumes that really help you understand a production area such as Chianti Rufina which is famous since 1716 in the notice of Cosimo III de Medici.
