This is a terroir with a very venerable reputation (referred to in archives dating back as far as 1328). The Kaefferkopf is one of the most renowned Grands Crus in Alsace.

Bouquet

The nose presents a great deal of purity, mineral character and noble vegetal notes (such as gentian ...).
