History The name 'Clos de l'Ecru' dates back to the Middle Ages. 'Clos' referred to the sums owed to the Dukes of Burgundy.

Harvest The 29th of August.
Vinification The grapes are selected by hand. After a 19-day vatting period, alcoholic fermentation is complete. The marc is slowly and gently pressed to extract an exceptionally pure wine.
Ageing 14 months in French oak barrels (1/3 are new barrels). The wine is left to age in the company's cellars.
