Born in the burst of crystal clear joy with which it is celebrated, it gives strong assent to a new birth. And it is my granddaughter. It's my sister who says to me on the phone: "You know, there's something new...". And it can only be a deep and clear smile of joy, tumultuous enchantment of the blooming of a deep mystery, the opening of a flower, the surfacing - from the depths of the earth - of a pure gesture of beauty.
