Cerequio is a vineyard located in the town of La Morra, protected from cold winds. The soils are composed of sand, silt, and clay that give tannic, robust, powerful wines. The rows of vines are located at above 320 metres above sea level and face east. The olfactory bouquet of this cru is rich and complex: cherry, violet, and balsamic notes with refined hints of vanilla and liquorice together with withered rose and goudron.

Colour

Garnet red with orange reflections in the ageing.

Bouquet

Notes of violet, cherry and balsamic nuances of vanilla and liquorice.

Flavour

Intense, elegant and persistent, with notes of red fruit and, with ageing, tobacco and leather.
