This is the first Barolo produced by our winery, with grapes from vines over 50 years old.

Colour

Ruby red with brick red highlights.

Bouquet

The nose is traditional, with hints of ripe fruit and chocolate.

Flavour

On the palate it is full-bodied with great structure and elegant and very persistent tannins.

Climate Exposure: South.
Vinification Soft pressing of the grapes. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts for about 15 days at a controlled temperature in wooden vats, during which pumping over is carried out periodically to ensure optimal extraction of the colour and tannins present in the skin. This is followed by a medium-long maceration using the submerged cap technique, racking and malolactic fermentation.
Ageing The wine is then racked into oak barrels where it matures for 20 to 24 months; it is then racked into cement tanks where it remains for a few months before being bottled.
