Oban Bay Reserve Nights watch (Games of Thrones)
To celebrate the 8th and final season of the famous TV series Game of Thrones, Diageo in collaboration with HBO has released a limited collection edition of 8 single malt whiskeys from the most iconic Scottish distilleries (Cardhu, Clynelish, Lagavulin, Talisker). The range consists of eight whiskeys in total, seven corresponding to the House of Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, each with the relative symbol on the label (eg the three-headed dragon for the Targaryens, the dire wolves for the Starks), plus an eighth scotch whiskey that is inspired by the characters of the Guardians of the Night.
Night's Watch are a confraternity dedicated exclusively to defending the Barrier, a huge wall built to protect Westeros from bruises, wild animals and above all the Estanei. The Oban distillery is located in the bay of the same name, is nestled on the sea but is anchored to the mainland, its single malts are a beautiful mix between the peats of the islands and the best Highland whiskeys.
