Magnificent in every way, this is an epic, perfectly matured Mortlach. Exceptional quality from first-fill Pedro Ximenez/Oloroso seasoned casks that is very fine at natural strength and can also be enjoyed with a small dash of water, which softens the tannins.

Colour

Deep magenta, polished rosewood.

Bouquet

Dense, elegant and intriguing. Dried fruit, Cedarwood, leather and tobacco.

Flavour

Robust palate with a coating of oiliness. Aromatic citrus. Hints of wood spice opening into a dark, meatiness of barbecue pork cackling, berries, jam and cocoa nibs and brightness.
