Macallan Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky 8 Y.O.
This incredibly rare Macallan 8-year-old whisky was bottled in the 1970s for the Italian importer Rinaldi from Bologna and is now considered highly collectable due to the few numbers in circulation.

Colour

Deep amber.

Bouquet

Very pleasant mineral note blending with vivid red fruits, especially blackberries and cherries, intensifying as the whisky oxidises. Persuasive milk chocolate, but also vanilla berries and juicy apricot. Herbaceous and balsamic trait, eucalyptus leaves.

Flavour

Medium-bodied, it immediately reveals a hint of roasted nuts with a predominance of walnuts but without neglecting almonds. Bitter cocoa, cherries and a delicate waxy trait. Moreover, a good rhubarb note alongside a light but an interesting herbaceous trait. Citrus side of unripe oranges next to light liquorice. A medium-long finish of citrus, rhubarb, cherries, and bitter cocoa.
