Kentucky spirits

US federal state with capital Frankfort. To the north it is bordered by the Ohio River, to the west by the Mississippi; there are numerous waterways: among them the Tennessee, the Cumberland, the Kentucky, the Licking and the Big Sandy. The territory is mainly flat. The climate is continental, with heavy rainfall. The basis of the economic structure of the state is agriculture, especially in the central region (Blue grass region), where the surface soil is made up of fertile red earth (clay decomposition). The production of cereals and the cultivation of tobacco, for which the country is in second place in the United States, are also renowned for fruit and vegetables and cotton.
