Remy Galichet

The Galichet Family left the small village of Pontfaverger Northeast of Reims and arrived in Bouzy in 1956 where Serge Galichet found a job as a communal agent.

The family is settled and liked Bouzy very much. Thus Serge Galichet decided to orient his career towards the vineyard work and integrate a Big Champagne House in Reims where he would learn the varios facets of winemaking.

A few years later, the opportunity arese to acquire a few parcels of vines, and so was born its first curvee in 1959. His eldest son, Remy, from a young age, loved spending time with his father, he integrated the famous Wine School in Avize.

A lover of the local soil, hardworking and ambitious, Remy continued in this way with the acquisition of its parcels in Aisne departement. 1973 was marked by its first harvest and the launch of his own brand of Remy galichet champagnes.
