Schioppettino wine has a more or less deep ruby red colour, with evident violet notes that tend to fade with ageing.

Taste

On the palate, Schioppettino is dry, soft and round, with a good full body. There is a vibrant fresh-savoury vein supporting a well-integrated, velvety tannic mass of pleasant texture. Aromas consistently echo the aromas, from small red and black fruit to spicy notes, with a lingering finish enriched by herbaceous and green pepper flavours.
