Description
Still red wine from Emilia-Romagna, 14% ABV, produced by Umberto Cesari in Castel San Pietro Terme (BO). Blend: 90% Sangiovese, 10% Longanesi. 0.75L bottle, 2017 vintage. A Sangiovese that celebrates the history of a family that has contributed to the ennoblement of the Emilia-Romagna winemaking tradition. Aged for 24 months in 225L and 550L Allier barriques and tonneaux, followed by 6 months in bottle. Red fruit, ripe cherry, delicate blackberry, raspberry, a hint of rose, balsamic and spicy notes blend into an intense bouquet. Powerful, mellow, rich in pulp and tannins, with great balance, a wine that perfectly expresses its terroir.
