Description

Still red wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, 13.5% ABV, produced by Cantina Tramin. 100% Pinot Noir. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Pinot Noir Riserva born from the passion and dedication of Cantina Tramin, which has always been committed to promoting local grape varieties. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and placed in small containers to preserve their integrity. Fermentation of the must takes place at a controlled temperature (28°C) in large oak vats with a submerged cap system, which maximizes aroma preservation and produces a more intense color. Spices, cherries, morello cherries, and berries, combined with an elegant and persistent structure, make this wine a unique sensory experience.

In a time of hardship for Alto Adige’s wine producers, Christian Schrott, parish priest of Tramin and later Member of the Austrian Parliament, founded our cooperative in 1898 in order to protect the livelihood and future of the wine producers from this mountain area. Thanks to the strength of this union, Cantina Tramin has become one of Alto Adige’s most respected cooperatives and an example recognized all over the world.

Today, we are 160 families tending approximately 270 hectares of vineyards. We pride ourselves on the fact that each bottle is the quintessence of our philosophy of life and work: accuracy, commitment, trust and creativity.
