Description
Still white wine from Alto Adige DOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by Cantina Tramin. 100% Chardonnay. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine born from the passion of Christian Schrott, parish priest of Termeno, who founded the winery in 1898 to ensure a future for mountain winemakers. The name Glarea comes from the Rhaeto-Romanic language and means gravel, a clear reference to the unique conformation of the soil from which this wine is born. On the nose, Glarea recalls ripe banana, dried apricot, and pineapple. The color is straw yellow with greenish highlights. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with a certain fullness and a very pronounced minerality, with a long and harmonious finish.
