Description
Still red wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, 13.5% ABV, produced by Tiefenbrunner. 100% Lagrein, a native grape variety that best expresses the characteristics of the terroir. 2022 vintage, 0.75L bottle. The vineyards are located on the hillsides of Niclara and Cortaccia. Fermentation on the skins in concrete barrels, followed by malolactic fermentation and ten months of maturation: 75% in small oak barrels and 25% in large oak barrels. After blending, the wine ages for another two months in concrete barrels, before being bottled and aged for five months in the bottle. Intense garnet color with violet reflections. The bouquet conveys delicate and characteristic aromas reminiscent of violets and cherries, discreetly enhanced by a full-bodied and fruity palate. The long finish is supported by subtle tannins and a pleasant acidity.
