Description
Still white Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC, 13% vol, produced by Sirch Azienda Agricola. 100% Friulano/Sauvignon Vert. 0.75 l bottle, 2024 vintage. A Friulano made in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, from grapes grown predominantly on Eocene marl and sandstone. The grapes are destemmed and softly pressed. The resulting must undergoes low-temperature static decantation before being fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18/20°C. After fermentation, the wine remains on the lees in the tanks for several months and is periodically resuspended. Delicate, intense, and captivating. Hints of citrus blend and enhance with fruity notes of apricot and pear and floral hints of jasmine, old rose, and chamomile. Enveloping and complex. Notes of ripe Golden Delicious apple, dried fruit, and vanilla blend with balsamic hints of sage and thyme. The finish features a typical tannic note of almond and a citrus finish.
