Description
Semi-aromatic still organic white wine from Sicily, Menfi DOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by Planeta. 2023 vintage, 1.50-liter magnum format. A wine born from the passion of the Planeta family, who have been committed to promoting the Sicilian terroir for 17 generations. 100% Chardonnay. Fermentation at 18°C in barriques; followed by 11-month aging with bâtonnage every 10 days. Aged in 225-liter Allier oak barriques, 50% new and 50% used once and twice. A subtle minerality harmoniously blends the flavors of ripe yellow peaches, acacia honey, and almond paste with the peatier, cereal, and toasted aromas. A pale gold color, deep yet transparent.
