Description
Organic still white wine from Savennières, Loire, France, 13% ABV, 100% Chenin Blanc, produced by Clos de la Coulee de Serrant (Nicolas Joly). This wine comes from a historic vineyard, planted by Cistercian monks around 1130, and has remained a vineyard ever since: nearly 900 years of successive and uninterrupted harvests. An intense and complex array of fruity, floral, and spicy aromas, with notes of ripe fruit, pineapple, almond, anise, licorice, and an ethereal nuance. Golden yellow. Complex and enveloping, with great minerality and a remarkable persistence, this wine embodies the history and passion of a unique terroir.
