Description
Still white Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Riserva Classico DOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by Mezzanotte, a winery with a strong focus on sustainability. 2019 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A Verdicchio Riserva made from a single, single-plot vineyard over sixty years old, fermented in stainless steel and aged in glass-lined concrete barrels for approximately three years, followed by ten months in bottle. The nose reveals fruity aromas, particularly white fruit—apple and pear—as well as citrus, white flowers, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is dry and harmonious, with good structure and persistence, and a long, slightly almondy finish.
