Description
What kind of wine it is
Champagne Grand Cru Shaman Brut Nature Marguet is produced in a strict pas dosé style, capable of expressing the pure essence of its place of origin. In the glass, it displays a bright straw yellow hue, crossed by a fine and continuous perlage. The careful blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay offers an aromatic profile defined by fragrant fruity notes and delicate hints of small red berries. On the palate, this Traditional Method stands out for its dry and clean sip, revealing itself as fresh, harmonious, and endowed with a long persistence.
Where it comes from
The grapes come from the prestigious areas of Ambonnay and Bouzy, renowned villages classified as Grand Cru within the Champagne region. In these estate vineyards, Marguet rigorously applies the principles of biodynamic agriculture, promoting the vitality of the natural ecosystem. The estate has introduced working the land with the help of horses, a choice aimed at preserving the structure and health of the soil. This deep connection with the land translates into an authentic imprint, capable of enhancing the characteristics of the terroir of origin.
How it is produced
Vinification follows the strict practices of the Traditional Method, through the traditional prise de mousse in the bottle and subsequent ageing on the lees. This Brut Nature expression does not involve any addition of sugars after disgorgement, a pas dosé approach that results in an essential and profound wine. The careful management of each production phase supports the natural vocation of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes without forcing. The result is a direct and incisive biodynamic blend, a faithful reflection of the meticulous agricultural work carried out in the estate vineyards.

The horse is a unique link with the elements that make up our land such as the mineral (chalk), the plant (vines and endemic flora) and the animal (fauna and Man).
In many civilizations, the horse is a sacred animal, non-predatory and contributing to social and spiritual balance.
Our winery is dedicated to harmony with nature by nurturing old vines with biodynamic, phytotherapeutic and aromatherapeutic practices. Discover our localities of Ambonnay and Bouzy, where we cultivate our grapes with an average age of 40 years. Read more
