Description
Still white wine from Umbria, 13.5% ABV, produced by Lungarotti. Blend of Grechetto, Trebbiano, and Vermentino. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine born from the passion of Giorgio Lungarotti, the winery's founder, and embodies the history of a region and a family that has cultivated this land with passion for over a century. Vigna Il Pino takes its name from a large, centuries-old pine tree that towered over it until the summer of 2020, indicating its location from afar. Straw yellow with good intensity and bright greenish reflections, tending towards golden with age. Fruity (yellow peach and citrus) and good complexity; a slightly floral finish with refined woody notes. Elegant on the palate and delicate citrus acidity; fragrant white fruit and a long, savory aftertaste; slightly mineral, almost savory, finish.
