Description
Still red, 14% ABV, produced by Lungarotti in Umbria, with Merlot and Sangiovese grapes. Vintage 2022. A wine that tells the story of a family and a region, with a blend that combines the structure of Merlot with the liveliness of Sangiovese. Complex and warm, with notes of morello cherry, sour cherry, and fruit preserved in alcohol; delicate hints of coffee, cocoa, and sweet spices. Bright and intense red with purple hues. A beautifully structured wine, supported by crisp acidity and harmonious tannins; a finish of fresh red fruit and a long, lingering aftertaste with a pleasantly smooth finish. Ideal with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
