Description
A Brut Classic Method sparkling rosé from Umbria, Italy, produced by Lungarotti. Blend of Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese. 0.75L bottle. A Brut Rosé born from the passion of a family that has been producing wines in Torgiano since 1962. Nine months of secondary fermentation and 45 days of riddling on pupitres; the wine then rests on the lees for a month before disgorgement and another two months before release. Seductive and fragrant, it evokes bread crust, wisteria, and rose, followed by delicate notes of hazelnut and menthol, and a hint of citrus zest on the finish. The color is a clear and bright onion skin. Vibrant freshness and a decidedly almondy note, with a delicate and persistent mousse; enveloping progression, with a light mineral touch on the aftertaste.
