Description
Still organic red wine from Piedmont, 14.5% ABV, produced by La Spinetta. Blend: 65% Nebbiolo, 35% Barbera. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine born from the blend of Barbera and Nebbiolo, a combination that expresses the elegance of the Piedmont terroir. Separate alcoholic fermentation for the two varieties for 7-8 days in temperature-controlled rotofermenters, followed by malolactic fermentation in barriques. Aged in medium-toasted French oak barriques for 16-18 months. After blending, the wine is transferred to stainless steel tanks where it remains for 2 months before bottling, followed by a further 15 months in bottle before release. Hints of raspberry and blackcurrant. Bright garnet color. Balanced between firm acidity and ripe fruit, enhanced by the elegance of Nebbiolo.
