Description
Organic still red Etna DOC, 14% ABV, 100% Nerello Mascalese, produced by Gulfi. 0.75-liter bottle, 2019 vintage. A wine born on the slopes of Etna, a unique territory for its history and richness. The grapes, harvested between the first and second weeks of October, are vinified in red with a long maceration of the must with the skins. Aged in small 500-liter French oak barrels for at least 2 years. Spicy, floral, balsamic. Pale ruby red color. On the palate, it is dry and mineral, with a strong tannic structure that makes it a wine of great structure and persistence.
