The spring months were characterized by a mild climate with little rain and no thermal stress: this led to a good health condition of the grapes. In late May there was a sudden drop in temperatures that did not cause any damage but led to a slight slowdown in the phenology of the plant and a higher proportion of unfertilized flowers. These physiological disorders resulted in sparse bunches and therefore more healthy. In July, temperatures were high, while August was cool with moderate precipitation: a varied thermal regime that guarantees a very interesting aroma, rich intensity and complex. |
