Still red wine from Sicily DOC, produced by Firriato. Blend: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot. 2018 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A wine that expresses the strength and elegance of the Sicilian terroir. Manual harvest. Merlot: 1st-2nd week of September; Cabernet Sauvignon: 3rd week of September – 1st week of October. Traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled fermenters; malolactic fermentation and aging in French oak barriques for 9 months. Impenetrable ruby color. Reveals an imposing structure and a good concentration of soft tannins. A beautifully complex aromatic spectrum with notes of ripe red fruit and spice.
