Description
Still biodynamic white wine from Alsace, 13.5% ABV, 100% Riesling, produced by Domaine Bott-Geyl. 0.75 L bottle, 2018 vintage. A Grand Cru Riesling that embodies the passion and dedication of a family that has been making wine since 1795. Domaine Bott-Geyl converted the vineyards to organic farming in 2000 and then to biodynamic farming in 2002, to best preserve the terroir. The captivating nose offers green fig, lime, and botanical herb aromas, along with a dusting of flint. Bright yellow in the glass. Broad, rich, and dense, with flavors of green apple, pear, and fresh citrus. Very long, it can be powerful and graceful at the same time. A wine that pairs perfectly with seafood, Asian cuisine, and spicy dishes.
