Description

A still red from Tuscany, 14% ABV, 100% Sangiovese, produced by Roberto Cipresso. 2020 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A wine crafted by an internationally renowned winemaker, a Sangiovese that embodies the excellence of the Tuscan terroir. Temperature-controlled fermentation with selected yeasts in steel tanks and conical wooden vats. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. A fresh and inviting nose, it offers notes of potpourri, karkadé, blood orange peel, sour cherries, blackberries, mastic, juniper, myrtle, laurel, licorice, eucalyptus, spices, and almost ferrous iodine notes. A luminous ruby red with subtle garnet hues. It lives up to expectations, boasting a magnificent structure expertly supported and enlivened by lively freshness, fine tannins, and incredible minerality.

Originally from Bassano del Grappa, he began his career as a winemaker in 1987 in Montalcino. In 1999, he founded Winemaking, a consulting group specializing in agronomy and oenology. In 2006, he was named "Best Italian Winemaker" at the "Oscar del Vino" awards. In 2007, he received the Luigi Veronelli Award as "Best Italian Food and Wine Writer."
