Description
Nizza DOCG still red wine, 15.5% ABV, produced by Cascina Valle Asinari, a young Piedmontese winery founded through the acquisition of the historic Bricco Asinari winery. 0.75 L bottle, 2020 vintage. A Nizza made from organically grown Barbera grapes, a wine that expresses the passion and dedication of its producer. Aged 12 months in large barrels and 6 months in bottle. An inviting nose with notes of cherry jam, alcoholic morello cherry, violets and dried roses, cinchona, pipe tobacco, Boero chocolate, earth, and oriental spices. A deep ruby color. Ample, strong, and fleshy on the palate, distracted by excellent freshness on a fruity and spicy finish. Dense, well-integrated tannins.
