The Casanova di Neri farm began in 1971 when Giovanni Neri bought a large estate within the territory of Montalcino.
Today have about 48 hectares of vineyards divided between four quite distinct areas: the Pietradonice in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, the Cetine in Sant'Angelo in Colle, the Cerretalto and il Fiesole near the farmhouse of the same name facing Montalcino. The grapes have improved in quality so more care and attention has been taken in the winery from the vinification to the use of casks of different sizes and made from different types of wood.
