Description
A still white wine from the heart of the Marche region, the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Fontevecchia 2023 by CasalFarneto, with an alcohol content of 13.5% vol. This wine is born from the passion of a winery founded in 1995, combining tradition and innovation. The soil is medium-low in consistency, with a southeast exposure. Vinification involves soft pressing of the grapes and temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by six months of aging in stainless steel and at least four months in bottle. On the nose, it is ample, fresh, and persistent, with hints of lime, white flowers, almond, and summer fruit. The color is straw yellow with greenish highlights. On the palate, the flavor confirms the aromas, balancing freshness and savoryness with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
