Description
Sweet white passito wine from Veneto, Recioto di Soave DOCG, 13.5% ABV, produced by Ca Rugate. 100% Garganega. 0.50 L bottle, 2019 vintage. A wine that tells the story of a family with four generations of ties to the volcanic soil of Rugate. The grapes are dried for 5-6 months in a drying room, concentrating their sugars and aromas. The must ferments in barriques, remaining in contact with the lees for approximately 10-12 months. Intense, persistent, floral and fruity aromas of sultanas, dried figs, and walnuts, enriched with a spicy note. A dessert wine that expresses itself best after a year of bottle aging.
