Description
What kind of wine is it
Champagne Premier Cru Les Beaux Regards Extra Brut is a Blanc de Blancs made from Chardonnay grapes. In the glass, it displays an intense golden yellow colour and a creamy, fine and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile reveals elegant notes of beeswax, pear and candied citrus fruits. On the palate, it is rich and well-structured, characterised by an energetic impression and a clear chalky and iodine component. This wine, crafted by Bereche, has an ageing potential in the cellar of ten to fifteen years and pairs perfectly with shellfish, sushi, fried fish and soft cheeses.
Where does it come from
The wine originates in France, within the prestigious Champagne Premier Cru designation. The grapes grow in Le Craon de Ludes, a place of origin that imparts a distinctive character to the Chardonnay. The connection with the soil is expressed in a vibrant minerality and a pronounced savoury drive. Bereche safeguards this heritage by adopting agricultural practices aimed at preserving the health of the soil, ensuring the utmost harmony with the landscape and precisely reflecting the authenticity of its vineyards.
How is it produced
Production relies on the Traditional Method, a fundamental step in building the elegance of the sip. In the vineyard, ploughing and the use of organic fertilisers maintain a high environmental quality. The work in the cellar is completed by an Extra Brut profile, ideal for delivering a dry taste true to its area of origin. To fully appreciate the fragrance of the aromas and the structural liveliness, a serving temperature between 6 and 8 °C is recommended.

Every action has been adequately thought out. Of course our land is plowed and we also use weed control to limit disease. This vegetation cover avoids herbicides, insecticides and anti-rots. Everything begins with the soil. The fertilization is organic. We feed wildlife which in turn feeds flora and thus the soil is working. As a result the House Bérêche has one of the lowest treatment frequency index in the Champagne region. It is also among the first to be certified High Environmental Quality (level 3). Read more
