Description
Still rosé from Lombardy, 12.5% ABV, produced by Avanzi. Blend: 90% Groppello Gentile, 10% Barbera. 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. A rosé born on the shores of Lake Garda, from a winery with a history dating back to 1931. The Groppello and Barbera grapes undergo two separate vinification processes, one obtained by soft pressing and the other by raising the cap, which gives the wine its significant structure. It ages on the lees for 270 nights, acquiring flavor, complexity, and elegance. Very fragrant and complex with hints of herbs and fruit.

| Wine making | Groppello and Barbera undergo two separate vinifications. Antitesi is made partly by pressing with a very low 50% yield and partly by cap raising, which gives our Rosa wine its important structure. The peculiar vinification takes place by means of a long soaking of the wine in contact with its noble lees. Here Antitesi acquires roundness, power and complexity. |
