Description
Valtellina Superiore Inferno Sesto Canto Riserva DOCG, 14% vol, produced by Ar.Pe.Pe, a family of winemakers for over 150 years. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75 l bottle, 2018 vintage. A wine that expresses the passion for Alpine Nebbiolo, with grapes grown in Valtellina, a unique area where everything is still handmade. Maceration for 86 days in 50 hl wooden vats. Aged for 34 months in 50 hl vats and barrels, steel, and bottle. On the nose, it releases bursts of hot spices, small red fruits, hibiscus, chinotto, rhubarb, aromatic herbs, and scorched earth. A fiery garnet red in color. On the palate, it sparkles with freshness and still-firm tannins. Persistent, it reproduces intact the suggestions perceived on the nose.
