Description
Still red from Lombardy, produced by Ar.Pe.Pe. Valtellina Superiore Grumello Riserva Buon Consiglio DOCG, 2018 vintage, 0.75 liter bottle. A wine that celebrates the passion for Nebbiolo and Valtellina, a unique region where everything is still handmade. Long macerations, even over 100 days in wooden vats if necessary, in large barrels for up to 60 months, and then for just the right amount of time, silently and darkly, in Burgundy bottles. Notes of citrus, freshness, and a light, silky finish… a cello concert and the white noise of the distant glacier.

| Story | When the high autumn temperatures begin to shape the aromatic profile of the grapes, the skin thickens and the mineral salts concentrate. The right acidity is needed to create the Valtellina Superiore Grumello Riserva Buon Consiglio DOCG. Long macerations, if necessary even more than 100 days in the wooden vat, large barrels for even 60 months and still for the right amount of time waiting, in silence, in the dark, in the burgundy bottle. You are amazed when you drink it at the end of summer, in the evening, and you are reminded of seaside holidays. |
